I am a Certified Health Coach, specializing in nutrition and wellness as a foundation for leading an extraordinary life. I am also a human resources/corporate wellness consultant, a writer, registered yoga teacher, and small business coach with over a dozen years of self-care management experience. I work with corporate staff, small business owners and entrepreneurs drawing on my experience in all of the above.
I am a Certified Health Coach and Psychology of Eating expert, with over 20 years of experience in the health and wellness field. I spent my undergraduate years at NYU, and I hold a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University. I have worked at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy – and earned the prestigious Integrative Nutrition Health Leadership Award for outstanding service in my field. I have also been a presenter at the Harvard Medical School.
For 5 years, I worked and taught at the Kripalu Center for Yoga, Health and Wellness. I’ve authored the book: “Feed Your Kids Well In A World That Doesn’t: An Everyday Guide to Make Healthy Food Happen in your Home and Beyond.”
I work with clients who want to create a healthy, positive relationship with themselves without chronic dieting and harsh rules. Typically, my clients have tried many ways of feeling good in their body, and are still challenged to make healthy living choices happen consistently and sustainably in their busy lives.
I champion my clients to achieve their specific goals with deep compassion and clarity. My coaching methods come from a grounded foundation of nutrition, psychology, and mind-body awareness. This holistic approach creates change on fundamental levels, so that the new healthy habits introduced are long lasting. I have a deep understanding of the challenges facing executives in the workplace, including women on their way to, and through menopause.
Time and again, I’ve seen it is possible to create a work / home / health balance, which leaves people energized, more productive, and happier in their lives.
I am 49, and live in the Boston area with my husband and two children. We love swimming, long walks, creative cooking, and spending time with our extended family.
